Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
Information we collect
- Account/contact: username/display name, email, password hash, support messages.
- Gameplay & usage analytics: game events, session length, features used, crash/diagnostics, approximate location (from IP).
- Device/network: IP address, device identifiers/advertising IDs (where available), browser/app version, OS, language, timestamps.
- Cookies & similar IDs: cookies/local storage for preferences, security, analytics, and advertising measurement.
How we use information
- Provide and maintain the Services (accounts, gameplay, features).
- Security, fraud prevention, and debugging.
- Analytics and product improvement.
- Advertising/attribution and measurement (including Google Ads), and to show ads where enabled.
- Communicate with you (support, service notices).
- Legal compliance and enforcement of terms.
Sharing
We share information with service providers and partners as needed to operate the Services:
- Processors/vendors: hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, communications, and security providers.
- Advertising partners: may include Google (Google Ads). These partners may receive cookie/ID, IP, and event data for ad delivery, attribution, and measurement.
- Legal/transaction: to comply with law, protect rights, or in a merger/acquisition (with appropriate safeguards).
Cookies, ads, and your choices
- Browser controls can block/delete cookies (some features may not work).
- Google Ads controls: adssettings.google.com and g.co/privacytools.
- Industry opt-outs (where available): optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Some browsers offer Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where applicable, we treat GPC as a request to opt out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising for that browser/device.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, including account administration, security, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Analytics may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form longer.
US state privacy rights
Depending on your state (e.g., CA, CO, CT, UT, VA), you may have rights to access, delete, correct, obtain a copy/portability, and to opt out of targeted advertising and certain data sharing. California residents may also have the right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it for inferencing sensitive traits) and to not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
To submit a request, email contact@obsidianotterden.com. We may verify your request (e.g., via account email or reasonable information). Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.
Do Not Sell or Share: We do not sell personal information for money. We may "share" identifiers and event data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out using the methods above or by contacting us.
Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to request deletion.
Security & international transfers
We use reasonable safeguards, but no method is 100% secure. If you access the Services from outside the US, data may be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate.
